About Us
The CUNY Film Festival is a student initiated event now in its 11th wonderful year. Our fund raising effort is to support its growth and diversity and to provide more access and assistance to CUNY filmmakers. The funds will be used to continue to reach out to all of the media students on each of the 24 city campuses and support bringing them together for a gala evening on April 14th at the Macaulay Honors College in New York. This year we hope to improve the media profile, awards presentations and expand discussion panels in the future. The festival is an exciting showcase for some of CUNY's most audacious and thought provoking student, alumni, graduate, and faculty film talent. Inspiring, crowd pleasing, and totally awesome, the event has been a success with hundreds of film entries each year.
