Calling all Macaulay nature-lovers! Want to build on your Macaulay BioBlitz experience and earn some community service credit at the same time? Volunteer to be a Macaulay iNaturalist pro at the 2025 City Nature Challenge: New York City!

The City Nature Challenge (April 25-28) is basically a four-day BioBlitz of the entire city open to everyone. Partner organizations around the city will be holding public events to connect people to nature and to the stewardship organizations that work to protect it.

Volunteers will get additional iNaturalist training and then be sent to public events to help folks participate in the challenge. Spend the day outside helping people notice nature!
