This exhibition showcases the stories of six artists, as well as additional artworks from dozens of artists in our community who turn to art as a method to reclaim visibility. Their works are tangible evidence of lives lived fully, and of voices that refuse to be forgotten. We are demanding that these stories be not only remembered, but also celebrated. Every piece you’ll see is a testament to the human need to be seen. When institutions fail to document certain lives, we turn to art to etch them into collective memory.
