Macaulay FIT is thrilled to invite you on a hiking adventure to Pine Meadow Lake via Reeves Brook, Seven Hills, and Pine Meadow Trail on Saturday, November 1st (7:45 AM – 6:00 PM)!
Picture yourself surrounded by vibrant fall foliage, making memories with other members, and pausing halfway at the breathtaking Pine Meadow Lake for lunch and photos before looping back to our starting point.
🚌 Logistics:
Meet at Macaulay Honors College at 7:45 AM for protein snacks, orientation, and waiver signing.
Our chartered bus will depart at 9:00 AM and return to the MHC building by 6:00 PM—your only cost is registration!
🥾 Important: This is a true hiking adventure, not a casual walk. The trail includes rocky terrain, so we highly recommend wearing sturdy hiking boots. If you don’t have hiking boots, snow boots are a good alternative to ensure your safety and comfort.
🥪 What to Bring:
- Your own lunch/food for the hike
- 2–3 (at least) bottles of water
- Comfortable backpack
💵 Registration & Payment:
$7 for Macaulay students
$10 for CUNY students

After registering, finalize your seat purchase (cash only) at Macaulay Honors College from October 14–27, Mon–Fri, 5:00–8:00 PM. Meet the Student Lounge Volunteers in the Reading Room (To your left once you enter the building - ask the security desk if needed).
Seats are limited (especially for non-Macaulay students), secure your spot ASAP! If we’re full, don’t worry, you can join our waitlist by filling out the same form, and we’ll contact you on a rolling basis if spots open up.
Waivers will need to be signed. If you are younger than 18 years of age, a parent or guardian will have to sign on your behalf.
