Leadership & Social Activism
Recognizing a student who has been a leading voice of justice in their community. This student has demonstrated an empathic commitment to serving the underrepresented.

Outstanding Commitment to Community Service
Recognizing meaningful volunteer service that exemplifies Macaulay’s belief that true scholarship works to improve the lives of others. Awarded to a student who is committed to expanding community service at Macaulay.

Leadership Legacy
Recognizing exceptional co-curricular contributions to the Macaulay community in the 2025-2026 academic year that have provided a template for future student activities and outreach.

Commitment to Community Building
Recognizing a student who has played a leading role in community building and whose actions have resulted in a greater community for all students. This student has demonstrated a commitment to creating a welcoming environment and building bridges.

Mack, the Macaulay Mountain Lion Leadership
The Mountain Lion is the mascot of Macaulay and symbolizes the spirit of the student community. We want to recognize students who embody these traits: outstanding leaders whose overall contributions and dedication to the community and service have created transformative experiences for their peers throughout the past year.

Recognizing a student who has displayed outstanding leadership qualities throughout their role. This student has provided inspirational leadership and modeled leadership throughout their service to the community.

Student Representative of the Year (Student Government)
Recognizing a student who has served as an outstanding representative and provided significant contributions to the Macaulay Scholars Council.

Student Lounge Volunteer of the Year
Recognizing a Student Lounge Volunteer whose commitment went above and beyond the role, provided a welcoming environment within the student lounge, and has organized multiple events or activities with success.

Orientation Leader Peer Mentor of the Year
Recognizing an Orientation Leader Peer Mentor who has upheld students’ right to mentorship by successfully connecting mentees to resources and to the larger Macaulay community, as well as by supporting other peer mentors throughout the year.
