Mission
Creating a community of business students throughout the CUNY campuses.

Membership Benefits
The CUNY Honors Business Hub is a program that aims to diversify the pipeline of students entering into various business fields by strengthening the honors-to-career pathway. This initiative is particularly focused on supporting underrepresented students – first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented minority students – across all CUNY Honors programs. This program will enhance students’ career preparation through a suite of opportunities including career readiness prep, intensive coaching and mentoring from business professionals, and financial support to facilitate participation in career-building experiential learning opportunities.

Mission
The mission of FemSocs at the Macaulay Honors College of the City University of New York is to educate the members of student body about the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes, to raise the consciousness of Macaulay students to the effect of their own actions on current feminist issues across the globe, to serve as a forum for discussion and a source of information on feminist issues, and to engage with and establish strong and lasting ties with other organizations across CUNY and the greater New York City area whose mission aligns with that of this organization.

At Humans of Macaulay, we aspire to unite the students of Macaulay from across the 8 campuses by sharing their experiences and stories in the form of interviews.

Members have the opportunity to interview students across all CUNY campuses, fostering a sense of community. These interviews can be done in person, or even virtually through platforms such as Zoom. We hold fun workshops every semester that revolve around the storytelling of our students, to help everyone form connections!

Mission
The Macaulay Art Tank is responsible for uniting Macaulay students from all campuses interested in arts opportunities and events in New York City. The Art Tank encourages and supports collaborative and interdisciplinary thinking, spontaneity, and creativity of all kinds. We aim to bring opportunities to students through museum/gallery trips and art-making workshops. Art Tank aims to build lasting connections between Macaulay and New York City Cultural Institutions.

Every Spring, the Macaulay Art Tank also curates Macaulay Arts Night. This initiative is one of Macaulay's biggest annual events, where a group of student curators transform the entire Macaulay Building into a giant art exhibition. The event serves as a showcase of Macaulay creative talent, featuring artwork, performances, interactive installations, and workshops. Arts Night aims to represent all Macaulay campuses through its curatorial team, artwork, and performances as a way of highlighting the diverse range of creative thinking within the Macaulay student body.

Mission
The Macaulay Asian-American Pacific Islander Student Society seeks to establish an open forum for the celebration of Asian culture. Though “Asian-American” sounds concise, the term encapsulates several distinct, diverse Asian cultures. This society seeks to enumerate these distinctions by celebrating what makes each culture unique. And yet, beyond emphasizing the differences, we also aim to focus on what brings these cultures together and how each culture fits into the term “Asian-American” We hope that through the establishment of this society that members will find themselves a part of an open, accepting community, an enriched understanding of other cultures, and a greater appreciation for their own.

- Members of MAPSS will be invited to all monthly meetings of the organization and encouraged to participate in all communal events.
- Monthly meetings will focus on cultural understanding and fostering a sense of community. The meetings seek to enrich understanding of the many distinct Asian American cultures and provide a friendly forum for discussion.
- Food will also be provided at these meetings!
- Members will be a part of a community interested in celebrating Asian American culture.

The Macaulay Business Club's principal purpose is to bring the power of business to CUNY. To achieve our mission, we will strive to evolve our club as a platform for all students to develop their skills, knowledge, and connections, ultimately providing a positive environment to the Macaulay and CUNY student community.

As Macaulay's center for chess-related activities, MCC strives to engage students with this timeless game. We will bring all that a chess community could offer to the table on both a social, and intellectual front. Additionally, MCC aims to foster a strong relationship with NYC through competition and community service.

Membership Benefits
If you are new to chess, at MCC, you can learn and refine your strategic and tactical skills by participating in chess lessons as well as apply those skills in games against other members. For those interested in the more competitive side of chess, MCC will give you an opportunity to participate in in-club tournaments (with the potential to win small prizes) and tournaments across the New York metropolitan area. Finally, if you are a chess fan simply looking for a supportive community, you are welcome to attend a multitude of events hosted by MCC where you can meet people who share your interest while having a nice slice of pizza.

The club would allow members to participate in character and world-building elements of a D&D game by teaching game rules and strategies and running both one-shot adventures and longer campaigns.

By joining the Macaulay D&D Guild, members will improve their improvisation, storytelling, and visualization skills amongst a group setting. The club is also be a space for veteran and beginner Dungeons and Dragons players to have a community to play the game with fellow CUNY students.

Mission
The purpose of this organization shall be to promote Bollywood Fusion Dance and South Asian culture using dance through the creation of a competitive and performance Bollywood-Fusion dance team at Macaulay Honors College.

Members of Macaulay Deewane are exposed to a variety of dance styles, as well as music; through observing choreography, learning, and practicing, members are challenged in their physical abilities and are supported as they master new forms of dance. Team members are also placed in a positive, energetic, and culturally diverse environment in which they are able to learn from and interact with students from all CUNY campuses, establishing relationships that may have otherwise been difficult. Members will be responsible for purchasing their own gear (one-time purchase), and other than that, there are no other membership fees or expenses that incur on members while participating in activities throughout the year.

The mission of the Macaulay Ethics Society at the Macaulay Honors College of the City University of New York is to educate members of the student body about diverse, multidisciplinary ethical issues as found in current academic literature, such as the Journal of Applied Philosophy; to educate students on a vast range of philosophical frameworks through which to approach ethical decision-making; to foster intellectual discussion among students regarding current ethical dilemmas that enriches the perspectives of all members; and to ultimately serve to empower students to explore and address ethical issues in their own communities as students, citizens, and eventually as professionals in their disciplines of choice.

Membership benefits include access to and participation in a community of peers interested in open discussion on morally gray and topical ethical issues using relevant philosophical frameworks, as well as how to read and digest the content of academic journals in applied philosophy and ethics. Club members will also receive notice of opportunities to participate in larger public ethics roundtables and interactive webinars led by reputable ethics organizations, such as the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics and the Institute of Business Ethics.

Mission
This club is dedicated to helping students be more aware of the growing problems around the increasing numbers of the homeless. We hope to spark thinking within students and push them to actively understand the problems that homeless people face daily. Meetings will be held monthly and there will be several events a month. In order to achieve this, we will help the homeless community by organizing food and clothing drives, writing cards, going to soup kitchens and homeless shelters, and much more! In terms of expanding our knowledge about the homeless community, we will have informative meetings, which will consist of discussing laws, policies, statistics, and treatment surrounding the homeless, and media coverage of news articles describing what is happening in real-time with the homeless community.

Members will be in a safe and open space to be able to learn about the political, social, and statistical aspects of homelessness and become more aware of the hardships homeless people face daily. From learning about homeless people's struggles, members will hopefully become advocates for the homeless.
