Mission
As Macaulay Honors College's official student newspaper and news site, The Messenger's mission is to inform and engage its readers by reporting on the topics that matter to everyday Macaulay students. Through honing in our journalism skills, we will serve as a nonpartisan student publication whose work is grounded in fact and research, and attempt to highlight the important and interesting stories that Macaulay students care about.

Membership Benefits
Members will gain a grasp on the principles of journalism and experience in a newsroom. This includes pitching a story, conducting research and interviews, editing, and publishing. Members will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that interest them, and develop a portfolio throughout the course of the academic year.
