Full-time Dermatology Medical Assistant

Looking for paid full-time medical assistants who would like to join an enthusiastic and energetic team focused on medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Reception responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients upon arrival
- Obtaining/verifying insurance information
- Uploading intake/consent forms of office policies and procedures
- Answering phones/speaking to patients
- Processing copays/product purchases and updating inventory
Medical Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Triaging and escorting patients to exam rooms
- Taking a full patient history (as a third-year medical student would do)
- Scribing during visits
- Documenting medications/allergies/
surgeries in patients' charts - Ensuring all related reports, labs, and referral letters are uploaded
- Keeping exam rooms stocked with medical supplies
- Sterilizing and organizing instruments
- Calling back patients for biopsy results
Hands-on experience will be gained when the assistant can show that they are ready to step up and assist with medical procedures including biopsies, surgical excisions and cosmetic injectable and laser treatment. Individuals must be naturally curious, inquisitive and willing to anticipate what needs to be done in order to complete.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be EXTREMELY meticulous and detail-oriented, punctual, reliable and a team player
- Must be available to work full time Monday-Friday and able to make at least a 1 year commitment to the role
