REU in Nanotechnology for Biology and Bioengineering

Students majoring in the STEM fields participate in research projects in the exciting and rapidly growing area of nanobiotechnology, a place where biology, medicine, and nanotech meet.
Research areas include:- Engineering for Cancer Therapies
- Stem Cell and Regenerative Engineering
- Diagnostic Tools Engineered for Early Detection
Students receive hands-on graduate level laboratory research experience and guidance from faculty and graduate student mentors. The program includes professional development activities, social activities, and off-campus housing.
Program participation is contingent on COVID-19 restrictions.
Qualifications:- U.S. citizens and permanent residents
- Undergraduate students who have completed at least their freshman year and will not be graduating before the start of the program
- GPA of 3.5 or better
- Under-represented minority students in science and engineering fields are encouraged to apply
