Dear Students,
Do you have questions about the costs of taking the MCAT, applying to medical school, or interviewing? How about some ways you can save some money to meet these costs? Well, look no further!
On behalf of the Weill Cornell Medical College First-Generation/Low-Income (WCMC FLI) group, I am happy to announce that we will be having our first event for pre-medical students on Wednesday, December 2nd from 7:00PM-8:30PM (EST).
We will be having a financial planning workshop to give pre-med students and overview on the costs of applying to medical school. Following this workshop, there will be a student panel with current medical students from a variety of backgrounds who can answer any questions you have may have about applying, interviewing, or attending medical school (from both the MD and MD/PhD programs). We will also be raffling off some gift cards to those who attend!
Please RSVP for the event here. (https://forms.
The Zoom link will be emailed to all those who RSVP prior to the event but can also be found on the attached flyer, along with some additional information.
On the form, there is a space where you can anonymously list any questions you have ahead of time for our panel, which will be organized and asked by our moderator. If you come up with additional questions following the submission of the form, there will be an opportunity to ask them during the live panel.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me (kel4009@med.cornell.edu). We look forward to seeing you!
Sincerely,
WCMC FLI Outreach Board
