The Weill Cornell Medical College is looking for bright, enthusiastic pre-health students who are interested in an exciting opportunity to participate in a two-week "Simulation Internship." One of the former interns said it best, calling this program an "amazing mind-blowing experience...rekindling my drive to pursue my dream in working in the medical field".
Interns will work together with Weill Cornell medical faculty to help conduct various simulated patient encounters using computerized audio/video technology. These encounters are intended to help medical students practice their clinical reasoning, teamwork, and procedural skills. Interns will have opportunities to see many simulated medical conditions up-close and learn from a multi-professional group of Weill Cornell faculty.
The two-week internship begins Monday, March 1st and ends Friday, March 12th from 7:00am-6:00 pm weekdays. Interns are required to be present in-person for at least three full days per week for two weeks at our medical school located in Manhattan, NY. Qualified interns will be expected to participate in a 3-hour in-person training course before the start of the internship on one of the following dates:
Feb 2, 2021- 10am-1pm
