Welcome to this week's Club Leader Updates! It was great seeing so many of you at last week's Club Council meeting. Here are some more updates and info below /chrisdaversa

SPARC is LIVE

We're very sorry about the long wait, after many months, Macaulay's Fall 2023 SPARC course is now live. Differing from last year, Macaulay has it's own course now. If you need to complete SPARC for another reason through your home campus, complete your Home Campuses SPARC couse and upload your certificate. (You only need to complete this once per academic year, no need to complete your home campus course AND Macaulay's).

Otherwise, all Club Leaders have now been enrolled in Macaulay's SPARC course for Fall 2023. If you're completing Macaulay's course, no need to upload anything once you're done and receive your certificate. For SPARC help and instructions, please see here.

Every club officer is required to complete this mandatory sexual misconduct training. Deadline to complete is Monday 10/9/23.

Mental Heath & Wellness Center

It's always important to lead by example. Macaulay's Mental Health & Wellness center is open for individual counseling. You can get an appointment by emailing wellness@mhc.cuny.edu

Student Support Team

The Student Support Team’s mission is to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and personal growth of all members of the Macaulay community. It's made up of a dedicated group of staff, looking to help students stay on track. If you'd like to chat with a member of the student support team or if there is someone you're concerned about in the community, please see here: Student Support Team

Looking to get the most out of Club Macaulay? There are a ton of helpful documents and info in the CampusGroups Help Center. You can also find this info in Question Mark, on the bottom right corner of every page. (Note: some features described in the Help Center may not be part of our service contract). 

As always, this is only to complement your support from Student Development - Let us know if you need any utilizing a new feature for your club.

Meet the Student Lounge Volunteers! Student Life Intern/Student Lounge Manager Celine Glennon will be leading a team of volunteers dedicated to bringing together the Macaulay community. If your group would like to sponsor one, or do something fun together feel free to reach out.

Halloween Party: Haunted Castle

Macaulay's Halloween Party is going to host a collection of fun events, and the Scholars Council is welcoming any clubs to cosponsor. If you're interested in partnering in any capacity, reach out to selina.zheng@macaulay.cuny.edu
 

Budget Deadline

The last date to submit your budget to the Scholars Council for an allocation is 10/11/23. Clubs will still have an opportunity in the spring to apply for additional funding, or apply for a budget for the remainder of the year if they haven't received one.
