We have some quick updates for you below:
Accessing Macaulay Building
As of 2/5, there have been slight changes to process for students to enter the Macaulay Building.
With a Macaulay ID: Tap the card reader and show your ID to Public Safety!
With CUNY ID: Hand your ID to the Public Safety Officer to be signed in. They will look you up to verify if you're a Macaulay student.
Want to tap and go? Make an appointment to get your Macaulay ID.
Building Renovations
The Scholars Council is looking to gather student input on future building renovations for 35 W 67th Street. If you're interested in participating sign up here and email Shania.Persaid@macaulay.cuny.edu with any questions.

Community Service Weekend
April 5th and 6th, Macaulay Community Service events will be taking place across all 5 boroughs! There's still a chance for your group to host a project. Email your project idea you want to host ASAP to Scholars Council VP Community Service Taly Kronisch at talya.kronisch@macaulay.cuny.edu. The last date for your project to be featured as part of Community Service Weekend is 2/29.

Calling All Artists! Arts Night 2024
Calling all artists to participate in this year's Arts Night! All submissions are due by 3/15, and you can email macaulayartsnight@gmail.com with any questions. Please share widely!
Reading Room: Lounge Hours!
We're excited to launch Lounge Hours at the Reading Room for the spring semester. We'll be hosting open lounge hours staffed by a student lounge volunteer, Monday-Friday 5pm-8pm. A place to study, meet a new friend, or something fun to do happening every day at the Macaulay Building. Coffee/Tea will be served daily, and Cup Noodle Ramen will be available for purchase.
Beginning next week, Student Lounge Volunteers will be hosting weekly events. Stop by, bring a friend, or co-sponsor with your club:
Mondays - Arts & Crafts Night
Tuesday - Board Game Night
Wednesday - Movie Night
Thursday - Video Game Night
Friday - Check Club Macaulay, Friday has no set theme.
We'll be rolling out study events as the semester continues. If you'd like to co-sponsor a lounge event, or with any questions email Student Life Intern/Student Lounge Manager yangyang.ou@mhc.cuny.edu.
Food & Culture Festival
Join the Scholars Council for the annual day of cultural celebration! Have a variety of foods and see some exciting performances.
