Club Fair
In case you missed it, check out the link to view all of the important info you need for the Spring Club Fair. The fair will be 1/24/23 from 3pm-6pm, and there are some things to work on and submit by 1/12/24.
Club Leader Retreat
Save the Date! We'll be hosting Club Leader Retreat on Friday 1/19. This will be an opportunity for Club Leaders to get to know other leaders, foster partnerships, and share experiences. We encourage every club to send 1 or 2 officers. Let us know if you're coming by 1/12. RSVP here.
Destress December
- 12/8 Finals Wellness Event: Take some time off your finals schedule and enjoy meditation, a massage, do some destress activities, or yoga.
- 12/21 Holiday Party: Macaulay Scholars Council hosts this end of year holiday party: Hot Chocolate, Karaoke, DIY Holiday card making, or games and more. Live Music from the Macaulay Musicians Collective and Slime Making with Art Tank, too
- 12/21 Cleaning Day: We'll be organizing the pantry, projector room and other Club storage spaces before the Holiday party. Join us for some fun!
Mentoring Future Leaders
As you think and plan for the future of your group, consider your roles as mentors. It’s up to you to build the legacy for your group and train the next generation of its leadership. Consider this from a diversity perspective in who you target, reach out to, or consider for leadership roles and mentor for the future. If all of your selected candidates are of a similar background or race, you may have an unconscious bias - think critically as you mentor new leaders.
Now is the time to plan and think about future leadership of your group, and the legacy you’ll leave behind in your position.
