Subject: Club Updates: Welcome Back Club Leaders!

Hi Club Leaders,

Welcome back for the Spring Semester! Best of luck with the start of the semester, and organizing all of your clubs upcoming activities. If you're looking to up your advertising game this semester, join us next week on 2/7 for Advertising Workshop (see info below). We know you know: we're here to support you if you need any help (but here's a reminder).

Please see the updates below:

Club Fair

Thank you for your support in last week's Club Fair! I hope everyone that came was able to have a great time. It was great seeing many of you and catching up, and bringing our community together. Special thanks to our amazing clubs and perfomers, we had a total of 102 participants.

Diversity: Recognizing differences of experience

As leaders, it is pivotal to recognize the differences of experience of our constituents. Our hopes, fears, and life experiences drive our every day actions. In your roles, consider how empathy and understanding can help improve the experiences of your peers, be it BIPOC group or otherwise. What makes a person’s experience different? By learning about others you can appreciate the diversity of our community and challenge any assumptions you may have. In honor of the start of Black History Month, these powerful pieces articulate the black experience, though there are many other experiences (NOTE: Some of this content may be upsetting):
