March Club Council

Friday 3/1/24 at 4pm is the next Club Council meeting. Just a reminder, this is a mandatory meeting and each club is required to send at least 1 leader to represent their group. Club Budgets

Many groups have yet to access their funding for the year. Now is the time to start making any purchases if you want to receive anything before the end of the year. If you need any assistance making purchases or accessing your club funding, please reply here or email us at student.clubs@mhc.cuny.edu

The deadline for new budget requests for the year is tomorrow, February 28th! All additional funding requests for March approval must also be submitted by tomorrow.

CUNY LGBTQ+ Hub & Conference

Check out the CUNY LGBTQI+ Hub! This is a centralized online hub for resources, information, and events to support the CUNY LGBTQI+ student, staff, and faculty population: cuny.edu/lgbtqihub

Also join the CUNY LGBTQ+ Council for a free full day conference including lunch! The conference will be hosted at College of Staten Island on March 22nd: register here
 

Resiliency Lab (with Design of America)

Macaulay is looking for 16 students to participate in a cohort group this semester to help focus on buildinga more resilient community. Applications are due soon, and you can find out more information here.

Your voice as an active part of our community is vital! Stay after this week's Club Council meeting to participate at 7pm in Classroom 3S; RSVP above to also get dinner!

Show Club Spirit! 

Can we feature your group on our Spirit Board? We'd love to feature merchandise from all of our groups on our spirit board in The Commons at the Macaulay Building to showcase our amazing community! Reply if your group can donate anything.

Inclusive decision making and processes are paramount to an organization's success. Here are some ways to promote inclusivity:

• Survey often
• Have formal meetings
• Give options, not updates
