The CUNY Honors Business Hub is a program that aims to diversify the pipeline of students entering into various business fields by strengthening the honors-to-career pathway. This initiative is particularly focused on supporting underrepresented students – first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented minority students – across all CUNY Honors programs. This program will enhance students’ career preparation through a suite of opportunities including career readiness prep, intensive coaching and mentoring from business professionals, and financial support to facilitate participation in career-building experiential learning opportunities.

Mission
The Macaulay Art Tank is responsible for uniting Macaulay students from all campuses interested in arts opportunities and events in New York City. The Art Tank encourages and supports collaborative and interdisciplinary thinking, spontaneity, and creativity of all kinds. We aim to bring opportunities to students through museum/gallery trips and art-making workshops. Art Tank aims to build lasting connections between Macaulay and New York City Cultural Institutions.

Every Spring, the Macaulay Art Tank also curates Macaulay Arts Night. This initiative is one of Macaulay's biggest annual events, where a group of student curators transform the entire Macaulay Building into a giant art exhibition. The event serves as a showcase of Macaulay creative talent, featuring artwork, performances, interactive installations, and workshops. Arts Night aims to represent all Macaulay campuses through its curatorial team, artwork, and performances as a way of highlighting the diverse range of creative thinking within the Macaulay student body.

2. Submit art to be showcased at Macaulay Arts Night in the Spring.

When you join Macaulay FIT, you join a wonderful community of students that value health, fitness, and wellness. By attending our events, you'll have the opportunity to make new friends, try out a new sport, and have a fun time working out. No experience is necessary! Stay informed about our upcoming events and collaborations with other clubs (and keep in touch with your new friends) on our group chat. Our aim is to raise the consciousness of Macaulay students about the effect of their own actions on the environment and their power to influence change. Furthermore, we serve as a forum for discussion and a source of information on environmental issues.

Mission
The Orientation Leaders/Peer Mentors help incoming Macaulay Honors College students
discover and pursue their passions and interests, adjust to life at Macaulay Honors College, and
develop the skills needed to become strong leaders within and outside Macaulay Honors College.
The Orientation Leaders/Peer Mentors pair new Macaulay Honors students with upper-class
mentors who will lead small group sessions designed to help students discover their passions and
interests and to set themselves up for postgraduate success. They will cultivate discussions about
model participation in an academic discussion through careful listening and incisive but
respectful speaking. Peer Mentors will also check in with students to ensure that they are thriving
in their college and extracurricular environment, and help connect the student to resources when
necessary.

Membership Benefits
Each new honors student is placed on a team led by one to two peer mentors. Mentors, who have
undergone a rigorous selection process, are committed to helping first-year students not only
adjust to college life, but also discover and pursue their passions and interests, and develop the
necessary skills to become great leaders on campus. Mentors and mentees meet regularly over
the course of the academic year through small group meetings and one on one check-ins.

Foster community and celebration among the graduating class. Split into 3 subcommittees:
-Legacy Gift Subcommittee: Offers input and ideas on the senior class gift and helps to promote to other graduating seniors
-Senior Events Subcommittee: Plans and hosts 1+ student-run event for graduating seniors
-Senior Awards Subcommittee: Offers input and ideas for the Senior Awards Event; brainstorm how to recognize academic and leadership achievements; helps to promote to other graduating seniors

The Student Lounge Volunteers (SLVs) are current Macaulay students who volunteer their time and energy to supporting the Macaulay student community. They host virtual lounge rooms and events, plan virtual student activities, and serve as a peer resource for any student looking to be more connected.

Mission
TEDx is a grassroots initiative, created in the spirit of TED's overall mission to research and discover ideas worth spreading. TEDxCUNY brings the spirit of TED to the CUNY community by providing a space for CUNY's brightest thinkers to share their experiences. TEDxCUNY received its license on July 26th, 2014 and has since become a recurring CUNY event gathering students, faculty, staff, affiliates, and the broader public for a day of idea-sharing.
