Good to see you, First_Name.
November’s here, and you know what that means: the official, way too early, countdown to the holiday season has begun! But let's not get ahead of ourselves and forget that currently, tis' the season for gratitude and big-backedness. Yes, that's right. Thanksgiving is but two weeks away! The wonderful holiday where we simultaneously stuff our faces silly with food and gaslight ourselves into thinking we'll catch up on late schoolwork (and don't think it'll be any different this year..)! We know you're excited, Mountain Lions -- we are too -- but in the next few weeks, let's try to balance the delicate line between being full-time students and full-time food enthusiasts. We mustn't get rowdy. We can be civil here; let's be grown-ups. Let's all start by admitting that stuffing, mashed potatoes, and, yes, your grandma's mystery casserole are overrated Thanksgiving dishes (seriously...tell Nancy to put down the oven mitts...).
Nevertheless, in this issue, we’re serving up a buffet of updates, events, and opportunities to make sure you’re not just surviving but thriving (Yeah, we didn't forget about finals -- neither should you...). Think of it as a side dish of inspiration with a heaping scoop of community spirit—no calorie counting needed. (Okay, okay, let's stop with the puns for now...)
So, take a break from plotting your best route to the mashed potatoes and dig into this month’s Macaulay newsletter (Yeah, there's no way we were going to stop)!
Cheers to a November full of learning, laughter, and the perfect ratio of pie-to-plate!
We're certainly grateful for all of you here at MSC,
Happy pre-Thanksgiving! 🦃
From 67th, with love,
MSC ;)
